Cal Benito can be found in the centre of the Priorat, world famous for its wines and stunning countryside.
This house, in the little village of capçanes invites visitors to get to know the rural community and way of life of the Priorat. It is an area made up of vines, olive groves, dry stone walls and of course impressive wines. Farming and agriculture is still the mainstay of this community.
Cal Benito was one of the first houses of the village to be built on the natural rock (dating from 16th century). It has been renovated whilst keeping all original building details and unique aspects which conserve the character of a typical rural village house. It is modern, comfortable and very welcoming.
Cal Benito is spread over four floors, with a small town garden and a roof terrace where visitors can contemplate surrounding vineyards. The surrounding countryside has been declared a "Protected Nature Zone" by the Autonomous Catalan Government.
The house sleeps 7 people, Cal Benito is a great way for visitors to take part in and understand the life and culture of this region.
